Foreign Languages
At St Bede's we celebrate different cultures and languages.
The children start learning French once they join KS2. We follow the Primary Languages Network scheme of work for French. See the files below for further information about our learning. Also try this link for opportunities for language practice.
French Club
Our after school French Club is very popular with many pupils. Mrs Starsiak's club is lots of fun. Pupils learn through games, songs, craft, eating and much more. You can always hear laughter and fun taking place in every session.
Italian Club
In preparation for the exchange visits with our partner school in Italy we run an Italian Club where the pupils learn greetings, numbers, colours, favourite foods, pets and more!
These are very lively sessions with lots of singing, games and role-pay to help rehearse our Italian.
