Summer Half Term!

Date: 30th May 2017 @ 9:00pm

A lovely end to our half term with beautiful weather and the celebration of our Patron Saint's day. Thursday was fantastic way to (nearly) round off the week, with a joyful mass, ice-lollies and an extra playtime! We did also find time to plan interviews for our Italian exchange children who will be visiting us after half term. The children spent time thinking about key aspects in their own lives then came up with questions that would help them compare these to the lives of the visiting children from Veneto. Subjects we will ask about include the animals that live nearby, the weather, school uniform, food, religion as well as a range of other topics.

When we come back it will be the childrens final half term in Year 3! We have lots of fun activities, mainly linked to our Topic work, to enjoy over the final few weeks. These will include newspaper and playscript writing, inventing healthy sandwiches, and projects in both ICT and Music.

On Monday the children are swimming so remember kits! Our Italian visitors will arrive Thurday evening, and then will be spending the day in school with us on Friday when we will test out our interview skills.

Hope you all enjoy the break and I will see you on Monday!

Next week: Homework---Spelling=Words with 'ou'---young, double, touch, trouble, rough. Can you find and practice more examples at home.

Times tables= x3 and x6.

Homework: Geometry worksheet.
