Our week-November 28th

Date: 5th Dec 2016 @ 1:01pm

This week has seen the start of Advent. The children have been looking at both the meaning of Advent and the Advent wreath. We have discussed how Advent is a time of preparation for the coming of Jesus, and we've been thinking about the best ways we can prepare.

Another exciting event we have begun preparing for is the Christmas production. All year 3 children will be involved in various roles and/or singing too. This week a letter will be coming home regarding clothing the children will need to wear. Any questions please ask!

We are still working hard on our folktales so make sure to ask your child about the folktale they are planning, and again any chance to read or share folktales at home will support their learning!

Next week: Homework.
