Our week---March 13th!

Date: 19th Mar 2017 @ 9:14pm

Well done to the children on the completion of their Ancient Egyptian Journey stories this week, it was fantastic to spend time on Friday sharing our tales in class and enjoying simply listening to the hard work that had been put in. This coming week we will be moving onto 'Performance Poetry'.

Hopefully all of our Science Week soil profiles have made it home. After learning about soil profiles on Tuesday we created our own ones on Thursday, then finally started a scientific write up about our experiment on Friday. We will complete this after the Easter Break when we have our findings. Please encouarge the children to water them and monitor the results. Also remember; a successful experiment is one we can learn from, it doesn't necessarily have to be overflowing with buds and shoots.

Finally, as per the letter that went home on Friday I will be out of class from Wednesday for 2 weeks (paternity leave) which will run up to the Easter break. Please come and see me on Monday or Tuesday if you have any queries before the holidays.

Next week: Homework---Spelling=Y3 Word List---calendar, century, library, surprise, quarter, experiment, circle, important, ordinary, strength.

Times Tables---x3, x4, x8 revision.

Homework: Spelling Writing Challenge.
