Our week---January 23rd!

Date: 28th Jan 2017 @ 9:43am

Three weeks into our new term already and the time is flying by. This week the class showed off their speaking and listening skills by working in pairs and creating a presentation about an Ancient Egypt job. Being a Pharaoh sounds good, but not sure a slave was much fun!

We also begun our new science topic: Rocks and Fossils. This will involve plenty of practical investigation over the next few weeks so if you're out and about do encourage your child to keep their eyes peeled for any interesting or unusual rocks they may see.

On Monday we will be visiting the Manchester Musuem. Please remember disposible packed lunches and full correct uniform! It should be an exciting day!

Next week: Homework.

Spellings---Apostrophes for contractions= Won't, can't, wouldn't, shan't, it'd. Can you find more examples at home to practice?

Times Tables---x7.

Homework: Egyptian Diary reading task.
