Our week---February 27th!

Date: 4th Mar 2017 @ 12:02pm

Well done to everyone for engaging with such a varied week on our return. The children participated and contributed greatly during our Ash Wednesday mass in school. In class we have been discussing Lent and the promises we can make during this period related to prayer, fasting and giving to charity. Later this term the children will also be activitely fundraising as a class as part of school Lenten fundraising.

On Thursday it was fantastic to see all the imaginative costumes the children came to school in! Throughout the day we had a library scvanger hunt, discussed why we love reading, designed new book covers for our favourite books and took part in a quiz hidden around KS2! As always the attitude of the class was spot on.

Don't forget swimming again on Monday!

Next week: Homework---Spelling=Year 3 Word List. Examples=answer, breathe, disappear, enough, favourite, island, medicine, naughty, possible, separate. Can you practice at home?

Times Tables---x12.

Homework: The River Nile.
