Our week----May 8th!

Date: 14th May 2017 @ 9:39am

A big well done to all the children who celebrated their First Holy Communion at the weekend. It is a real privilege and treat as part of my job to be part of the program in a small way. I'm sure that the children who will be celebrating next weekend will also enjoy a special day.

In this past week the children in Year 6 have been taking their SATS, many have been conducted in the hall and meeting room either side of our class and I want to thank the children for their behaviour and consideration each morning. Each day they made sure they worked quietly and calmly so as not to disturb the children in the rooms around them. We now need to keep this up for a short while longer whilst year 2 complete theirs.

This coming week in class we will be completing our work on 'The Boy who cried Wolf' and will be moving onto some persuasive letter writing work which will include having to write a letter to Ms Conlon. In science we will be reviewing the results of our plant growth experiment, and we will also be spending one afternoon this week telling stories through music!

Next week: Homework---Spelling=Year 3 word list---Appear, build, caught, difficult, early, guard, natural, position, strange, various. Can you practice at home this week.

Times Tables---x4 and x8 revision.

Homework: Italy Learning Log.
