Our week----May 1st!

Date: 6th May 2017 @ 2:15pm

Congratulations to all the children for a wonderful assembly on Friday. A brilliant effort and superbly delivered, well done!

As well as getting everything ready for our performance on Friday afternoon we have also been doing plenty in class. In science we have set up an experiment linked to our Plants topic. Each table has been given a plant and must store it and care for it in class. The tricky part is that each table is also not allowed to provide one the essentials for plant growth to their plant, therefore either no water, no air, no space to grow, no nutrients or no light. We have all predicted what we think will happen to our plants, and will compare them at the end of next week to one that has been able to have all of these requirements. (I get to look after this one!)

On Thursday please note we will be walking to church in the morning so that all the children who are celebrating their First Holy Communions in the upcoming weeks will have a chance to practice their readings. A short reminder letter will be coming home with the children on Monday.

Next week: Homework---Spelling=Apostrophes for contractions---you've, haven't, I'd, they're, hasn't. How many more examples can you find at home this week? Make sure you are practicing both contracted and full versions.

Times Tables---x4 and x8 revision.

Homework: My Maths.
