Welcome Year 6

This is our Home Learning blog.

You can post any questions for us to answer and keep in touch about what you are up to whilst at home. Keep an eye on the blog as we will continue to add work and comments. If you do write on the blog you don't need to include childrens names.

There is no requirement to send us evidence of your work although it may be nice to see any pieces you are really proud of.  Please can you send these to any of the emails listed and we can add to our class pages for others to see only if you want!

I hope you have all settled into your new learning surroundings and are being independent in leading your own learning. Just choose some of the activities that you want to complete. If you do anything you are proud of please email so we can see it. I know this is different for you as it is for me too! I have missed seeing you this week and can't believe the difference in the weather compared to last Tuesday. We were soaked when problem solving and orienteering last week and this week it was lovely to see the sunshine! I hope you are all being helpful at home. Please write back soon and tell Mrs Reed and I what you have been up to!

I hope you are settling into a new routine at home and enjoying all the sunshine. It feels like a very long time since we have been in the classroom together, but I am looking forward to seeing how you are learning at home. All the answers for your SPAG and Maths revision guides are now available to download – don’t worry if you haven’t completed any pages yet. I have also uploaded some other home learning tasks all about South America as we didn’t get chance to finish all our topic work. We would love to hear about what you have found and if you would like, you can e-mail us some photos. Enjoy!!

Well done to all the children who have had a go at the task set on SPAG.com. There are some fantastic scores so far - I am really pleased you can still remember all that technical vocabulary!! Well Done. Take care everyone.
