Easter Blog

Happy Easter! I hope everyone is having a relaxing break and enjoying the weather.

I am very much looking forward to getting back into the classroom next week after my time off! Our new (and final!) term will see us beginning fresh topics in Science, Geography and History which will then permeate across the other subjects in our curriculum. These will be detailed in the forthcoming summer newsletter.

A few notes for our 1st week back:

No swimming as we have the bank holiday on Monday. This will start again on the 24th.

Across the school we will be celebrating 'Environment Week' during our 1st week back, so some of our lesson time will be given over each day towards an exciting environment week project.

Please can you remind the children to bring in their soil profiles that we created prior to the holidays on Tuesday. It does not matter if they haven't been successful in growing any plants as part of our scienctific learning revolves around reviewing successes/failures and thinking about improvements were we to repeat the experiment.

Finally, we have an Easter Mass in school on Friday afternoon. This should be a lovely opportunity for the whole school community to celebrate this holy season together as a family.

Next week: Homework---None this week as it is our 1st week back, however there will be mymaths activities available.
