Christmas Break

Date: 7th Jan 2018 @ 9:06am

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

I am looking forward to welcoming all the children back tomorrow, refreshed and ready to crack on with an exciting new term full of interesting new topics to discover.

We will begin our Literacy work with Performance Poetry so children will need to make sure both their speaking and their listening skills are on point from Monday morning. In Numeracy we will be contrinuing with our work looking at multiplication and division, building on the skills learned prior to the holidays. In Science and History new topics will be revealed, and in RE we will be examining the events around the Epiphany and the visit of the Magi.

Please make sure children have PE kits in on Monday as we will now be doing PE on a Monday and Friday with coaches in on both days leading active sessions.

On Thursday morning this week we have a mass in school to which all are welcome.

This week's homework----Spellings=Suffixes revision 'ness' and 'ful'=wishful, forgetful, beautiful, happiness, kindness. Can children find more examples at home? Times-tables=x8. No set task in the red book this week.
