School Holiday Food Support - October 2026

Cheshire West and Chester Council has confirmed that applications are now open for support with food costs during the school holidays.

Families with school-age children who receive income-based Free School Meals may be eligible for £30 per week, per eligible child. The payment covers the October half-term and Christmas holiday period (three weeks), meaning eligible families could receive £90 per child.
