Our week December 11th!

Date: 16th Dec 2017 @ 8:31pm

As we enter the final week of term I wish to again congratulate the children on how hard they are continuing to work after a long 1st term in Year 3. This week we completed our Non-Chronological reports on 'Snow Dragons' as well as learning lots about the functions of our skeleton and muscles. We were also treated to the KS1 Christmas performance of 'Lights, Camel, Action!' on Tuesday morning, which the class really enjoyed.

Next week is going to be jam-packed! On Monday we have our Advent Service. This will be in church at 2pm and children are to be collected from the church afterwards. If children are wearing costumes please can they bring these in with them on Monday morning. Our second perfomance is back at the church at 6pm and I am hoping to see all the class there for what should be a lovely event. Wednesday is our Christmas dinner day and children (and staff) are encouraged to wear Christmas jumpers! On Thursday please make sure children are in school promptly as we will be leaving at approximately 0915 for the Pantomime. Finally on Friday we will finish of the term with Mass at St. Bede's Church at 1315, again, please remember childrren are to be collected from the church!

No homework this week. Merry Christmas!
