Our week---December 12th!

Date: 18th Dec 2016 @ 12:49pm

What a week!

On Tuesday we had a visit from Father Paul. Together with Year 4 we were able to take part in a reflective Penitential Service. The children constructed an Advent wreath in the centre of the hall before pausing and taking time to both ask for forgiveness and to give thanks to God.

Thursday and Friday saw the culmination of a lot of hard work with the performances of our production. Year 3 worked extremely hard preparing and rehearsing so they greatly deserved the plaudits they have received so far for the play. Well done to everyone! If you were lucky enough to see it, I'm sure you'll agree!

In class we completed our work on Folktales and also created some Iron Age passports. The children then interviewed each other and had to use the information in their passports to explain to why they were the best person to join each other's Hill-forts!

Next week we have KS1 Carol Service, Christmas jumper/dinner day, the Pantomime, our Advent Mass and much more so it should be a brilliant week to round off the children's first term in Year 3!

Next week: NO HOMEWORK!
