Our week----May 15th!

Date: 14th May 2017 @ 9:46am

Once again a big well done to all the children who celebrated their First Holy Communion on Saturday. As I said last week, it is a highlight of my role as Year 3 teacher to be involved in some part with the sacrament program. Congratulations to you all.

In computing this week the children completed their databases using information they had collected about each other. This will now be used on Wednesday to see if it can help solve a crime! We also enjoyed finding out about acute, right and obtuse angles this week. On Wednesday we had a hunt around the class to see how many we could find! Why not see if the children can find any at home.

Next week is the final week of the half term and is very busy. Swimming on Monday. On Tuesday after school will be the St. Bede's Art Exhibition. Open 1530-1830, please come along and see what the children have created. On Thursday is the feast day of St. Bede. We will be having mass in school in the morning, with other celebrations and activities throughout the day!

Next week: Homework---Spelling=No spellings this week. Please use the extra time to do a little bit of reading each night!

Times tables= x4 and x8 revision.

Homework: Italy Learning Log.
