Our week----June 19th!

Date: 24th Jun 2017 @ 1:12pm

After a week of blazing sunshine and heat it was brilliant to finally get outside on Friday afternoon and take part in Sports Day, albeit if the sun did disappear eventually. Lots of great effort and sportmanship on show, and it'll be exciting to see who finally comes out on top when the last few events are run.

Next week is our 'Healthy Me from Head to Toe week'. In class we will be doing a range of activities linked to looking after mind and body. Some children will be taking part in sports competitions and activities throughout the week too. As well as this we will be having a mindfulness session on Thursday after the school mass. In RE we will spend next week investigating another faith, Sikhism, and aim to discover how a different faith worship. It should be a very busy and exciting five days in school with lots going on!

Well done to the children on Thursday for their willingness to have a go with the different sandwiches and ingredients that we tried. After some reluctance everyone got involved and can probably say they tried something new. The children have since tabled and graphed their results and the next step will be to begin planning their own sandwich this week.

Next week: Homework---Spelling=Homophones--He'll, heal, grown, groan, rein, reign, rain. Can you find more examples at home? Continued from last week with all the activities going on!

Times tables=x8.

Homework: My Maths.
