Glaramara 2018

Date: 6th Mar 2018 @ 12:06pm

We hope you are looking forward to our trip next week!

We have had a busy afternoon after arriving....unpacking and then straight into activities.  Children have been busy this afternoon ghyll scrambling, abseiling, coracle building and testing their archery skills.  All are in bed fast asleep ready for a busy day ahead tomorrow.

Children slept well in their new surroundings and have had a good day so far.  Breakfast was a hit with lots of children having seconds of bacon and egg!

The sun is shining and is a perfect Spring afternoon in Glaramara. Some children are outside problem solving, one group is on a full day mountain walk and another group are climbing. The children are all well and they are too busy to be thinking about life at home! Lots of children trying hard with the challenges they are faced with and making memories!

The children had a good night's sleep and woke up feeling refreshed for their busy day.

It's a dry, windy day so a little cooler than yesterday. Three groups are out all day on mountain walks and the rest are abseiling, climbing or coracle building.

The children are having a great time! Take a look at the gallery on the website for a selection of photographs of them enjoying their activities

Good morning from a wet and windy Glaramara! Despite the weather, the children are looking forward to another day of fun filled and action packed activities.

One group is out on a full day walk today and as well as the other activities, two groups have been testing their map reading skills, orienteering in the woods around the centre.
